Hello !

My name is Sylvie and I live near by Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

I've lived several years (10 years) on the U.S. West Coast: San Francisco Bay Area as well as Seattle. I’ve traveled a lot for my work and this is one of the reasons why I started this blog ...it was a way for me to stay in touch with my friends, my family ... it keeps me grounded.

There is not much that I dislike. I have no real passion and consider myself a great generalist, specialist in nothing! I like to touch to a lot of things with a flavor for adventure.  I keep trying new things ... that keeps me on my toes. I sometimes fear the unknown but I have to much pride to not at least try ...

However, there are 3 activities I never get tired of: reading, cooking and travelling.

So with this blog, I kind of mix the 3.

Sometimes I read a text that triggers another thought. So that's what I discuss here! and when I am in town, I cook! a lot. I share my recipes with you.

I always give the source of the articles, books or recipes I use if they are available. Often you can click on a word to go directly to the original. As for the pictures ... I try to take pictures of all the recipes I make but sometimes I cheat and find one the net (very rare but it happens) ... if you click on the image you should be able to return to the source. As for the pictures or videos used, I sometimes do not have the legal rights to use them, but since I do not derive any revenues from this blog, I count on the indulgence of the authors to let me use them. 

If I use one of yours and are not happy about it, just inform me and I will delete it, promise.
